Tasks

Create, track, and complete follow-up tasks for your leads with grouped views, bulk completion, and overdue indicators.

Tasks help you stay on top of follow-ups. You can create tasks from any lead's detail page, set due dates, and mark them complete individually or in bulk.

Viewing Tasks

The Tasks page in the CRM sidebar shows all your pending tasks across every lead. Tasks are automatically organized into groups based on when they are due:

  • Overdue — tasks past their due date (highlighted in red)
  • Today — tasks due today (highlighted in your theme's primary color)
  • Tomorrow — tasks due tomorrow
  • This Week — tasks due later this week
  • Later — tasks due beyond this week
  • No Due Date — tasks without a due date

Each group shows a section header with the group name and a count badge. Within each group, every task displays:

  • The task title
  • The lead it belongs to (click anywhere on the task row to navigate to that lead)
  • The due date and time, if set

A total task count appears in the toolbar at the top of the page. When you have more than 20 tasks, the list is paginated with page controls at the bottom.

When you have no pending tasks, you'll see an "All caught up" message.

Creating Tasks

From the Lead Detail Page

  1. Open any lead's detail page.
  2. In the Tasks section, click the + button.
  3. Enter a task title.
  4. Optionally set a due date and time.
  5. Click Add to create the task.

Using the AI Agent

You can also ask the AI agent to create tasks for you. For example, type "Create a follow-up task for this lead" in the chat pane.

Completing Tasks

One at a Time

On the lead detail page, hover over any task to reveal the action buttons. Click the checkmark button to mark a task as complete. The task title will show a strikethrough. To reopen it, hover again and click the undo button.

Bulk Completion

On the main Tasks page, you can complete multiple tasks at once:

  1. Select tasks by clicking the checkbox next to each one.
  2. A toolbar appears showing how many tasks you have selected.
  3. Click the Complete tasks button to mark all selected tasks as done.

Your selection is automatically cleared after completing tasks or when the page changes.

Due Dates and Overdue Indicators

Tasks with due dates show a clock icon and a formatted date like "Mon, Mar 23" or "Mon, Mar 23 at 2:00 PM" if a specific time was set.

When a task is overdue:

  • The due date text turns red
  • A warning icon replaces the clock icon
  • The task row gets a subtle red background highlight

Editing Tasks

On the lead detail page, hover over a task to reveal the edit button (pencil icon), then click it to edit the title inline. Press Enter to save.
