# Shared mailbox

> Connect your agency's shared address, such as info@, so portal enquiries sent there reach Fondaro.

Portals often send enquiries to your agency's shared address, such as `info@`, rather than to one person. Connect it and those enquiries reach Fondaro. Only an admin can connect it.

## Connect the shared mailbox

1. Open **Settings › Me › Inboxes**, select **Connect**, then **Connect a shared inbox**.
2. Under **Where the mailbox lives**, choose **Google**, **Microsoft** or **Other mailbox**.
3. Check the line under **Price** and select **Connect**.
4. Sign in with the shared mailbox's own login. A Microsoft 365 shared mailbox has no login of its own: sign in with your own Microsoft account that can open it.
5. The page reads **Connecting** for a few seconds, then shows the address under **Agency**.

## Choose who uses it

1. On **Settings › Me › Inboxes**, open the shared mailbox's **⋮** menu.
2. Under **Who can use it**, tick the people who should work it. Each change saves at once.

The admin who connected it is always included. Everyone you tick sees its new conversations in their Inbox, can pick it as **From** in the email composer, and replies from it when they answer an email that came in through it.

## What arrives

- **Portal enquiries** become leads, routed the way your agency routes new leads.
- **Mail with your leads** shows on each lead, for the people who can see that lead.
- **Anyone else** shows as a new conversation in the Inbox of the people who use it, unless your agency chose to let fewer people through. Newsletters and automatic mail are only read to sort them, and never stored.

## Price and disconnecting

The shared mailbox counts as one inbox. See [Inboxes](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/integrations/connected-accounts.md#price). To stop, choose **Disconnect** from its **⋮** menu; conversations already on your leads stay.
