# Telegram

> Link your Telegram to Fondaro and message leads from their conversation.

Link your Telegram and your conversations with leads show on each lead, and you reply from Fondaro. Each person links their own account.

## Link your Telegram

1. Open **Settings › Me › Inboxes** and choose **Connect Telegram** under **Messaging**.
2. Check the line under **Price** and select **Connect**.
3. On your phone, open Telegram, go to **Settings › Devices**, select **Link Desktop Device** and scan the code. Type your Telegram password if you use one.
4. The page reads **Connecting** for a few seconds, then shows your account.

## Message a lead

A lead gets a **Telegram** tab on their conversation once their account is linked to them. When someone new writes to you, open the conversation in your [Inbox](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/inbox.md) and choose **Add as lead**, or **Link to lead** for a lead you already have.

Telegram doesn't let Fondaro edit or delete a message once it is sent. Do that in the Telegram app.

Fondaro only sends what you send yourself, one person at a time, at least 15 seconds apart, and never in bulk.

## What Fondaro keeps

Your conversations with leads, and messages from people who are not leads yet while you decide. Everything else on your Telegram is never stored.

## Price and disconnecting

Telegram counts as one inbox. See [Inboxes](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/integrations/connected-accounts.md#price). To stop, choose **Disconnect** from its row's **⋮** menu. Conversations already on your leads stay.
