# Import from Resales Online

> Copy your agency's own sale listings from Resales Online into My listings, safely and on demand.

If you keep your stock in Resales Online, you can copy your own sale listings into Fondaro instead of typing them again. They become ordinary listings in My listings, so you can assign agents, record commission, register viewings and make brochures.

The import runs when you press it. It does not sync on its own, does not import rentals, and does not take listings off when they disappear from Resales Online.

## Before you start

You need Resales Online connected in **Settings › Integrations**, and a spare API filter on the same Resales Online key.

> **Note:** Never change the filter you already use for searching. That filter powers the Resales Online homes in Search, in brochures and on your website. The import needs a second filter of its own.

## Create the own-listings filter in Resales Online

1. In Resales Online, open **Properties → Feed Out → API Filters**.
2. Edit a spare filter on the same API key.
3. Set **Resales Properties** to **Only own properties**.
4. Turn off **Only featured properties** and any **New Developments** restriction.
5. Leave the price range at `0/0` and clear every location restriction.
6. Set **Filter Type** to **Sale** and save.
7. Note the filter's **Filter Alias**, a number from `0` to `10`.

No spare filter? Ask Resales Online support to add one.

## Save the filter in Fondaro

1. Open **Settings › Integrations** and choose **Resales Online**.
2. Under **Own-listings filter alias**, pick the alias you noted.
3. Press **Save alias**.

Fondaro tests the filter and shows how many properties it returns. If that looks like the whole Resales Online stock rather than yours, stop and fix the filter in Resales Online first.

## Import your listings

1. Open **Properties › My listings** as an admin.
2. Press the arrow beside **Add listing**, then **Import from Resales**.
3. Read the preview: how many listings would be created, updated, skipped or have a problem.
4. Press **Import listings**.

The preview writes nothing. If the filter returns more than 50 properties, the import stops without writing anything, because that is almost always the wrong filter.

## Run it again

Import again whenever you want fresh data. Each listing is matched by its reference, so it updates the same listing instead of making a copy.
