# Saved searches

> Keep every search in one list, name the ones you come back to, and save changes only when you mean to.

A search holds a whole line of research: the place, the sites, the filters and the sort. Every search you have lives on **All searches**, where Search opens, and comes back on any device. Your saved searches are also listed under **Search** in the Properties sidebar, so one press opens them.

## Find a search

Open **Properties**, then **Search**. **All searches** groups your searches:

| Group | What is in it |
|-------|---------------|
| **Saved** | Searches you named, and ones colleagues shared with you ("Shared by" their name). |
| **Saved in My listings** | Saved searches from [My listings](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/properties/my-listings.md). They open there. |
| **Recent** | Searches you started and have not named. |
| **Collections** | Your [collections](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/properties/browse-all.md#keep-homes-in-a-collection) of homes. |

The arrow beside **New search** also holds **Start blank** (one blank search, skipping the questions), **Find by reference** and **Always start blank**. Use **Find a search** above the list when you have many. Click a search to open it.

To go back, click **All searches** in the path at the top of the page, or use your browser's Back button.

## See what is new

Each row on **All searches** tells you at a glance what you need before opening it:

- **The sites** it looks on, as their logos. Point at them to read the names.
- **The lead** it is for, as their face. Click the face to see the lead's details without leaving the list.
- **3 new**: homes the search finds now that were not there when you last opened it ("20+ new" when there are many). Open the search and the number goes.

The number is yours: a colleague who opens a shared search sees their own. Your saved searches in the sidebar show the same number beside their name.

When a search has new homes, we also tell you once, in your [Inbox](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/inbox.md) ("Penthouse NA 1mln, 3 new homes") and as a notification on your phone. Tap either to open the search. To turn the phone notification off, open **Settings**, **Me**, **Notifications** and switch off **New homes in your searches** under **Phone notifications**.

## Save a search

A search you started with **New search** stays under **Recent** once you press **Show N homes**, until you name it. Closing the **New search** page before that keeps nothing.

1. At the right end of the row above the results, press **Save search**.
2. Change the name if you like.
3. Press **Save**.

It becomes a saved search, private to you, and the key reads **Saved**.

> **Note:** You can keep up to 12 searches and collections. When the list is full, the oldest recent search makes room. Saved searches and collections are never removed for you, so name the recents you want to keep.

## Change a saved search

A saved search opens exactly as you saved it. Change its place, sites or filters, with the keys under the title or **Change search**, and the key becomes **Save changes**, with **Discard** beside it.

- **Save changes** keeps your edits. Only the person who saved it can do this.
- **Discard** puts the search back as it was saved.

On a search a colleague shared with you, the key reads **Save as mine**: it keeps your version as a new search of your own and leaves theirs alone.

Switching between List and Map, or moving the map, is not a change.

## Rename, duplicate or delete a search

Click the search's name at the end of the path at the top of the page, or use the **⋯** on its row in **All searches**:

- **Rename** changes its name.
- **Duplicate** copies it into a new recent search, handy for "same area, under €500k".
- **Delete** removes a saved search for good, for you and anyone you shared it with. On a recent search this is **Remove**.

## Share a search with your agency

1. On **All searches**, open the **⋯** menu beside **New search** and choose **Manage saved searches**.
2. Press the pencil beside your saved search.
3. Set **Visibility** to **Shared with org** and save.

Everyone at your agency then sees it under **Saved**. A shared search keeps its places, so it opens on the same streets months later. If a site no longer knows a saved place or filter, a line above the results says what was left out.
