# Studio

> Turn a listing's photos into short vertical or square video clips, ready to post.

Video Studio turns photos of a home into short clips that walk a buyer through it. Each clip is one 4-second camera move with no sound, in **9:16** (vertical) or **1:1** (square), ready to post.

Open **Properties**, then **Studio**, or press **Make clips** on one of your listings or a home in Search.

## Make clips from a listing

1. Pick a source on the left:
   - **Listing**: one of your own listings; its photos come in by themselves.
   - **Photos**: drag in your own photos, or a walkthrough video. Your browser picks the sharpest frames from it.
   - **Link**: paste a listing link from a property site and its photos are copied across.
2. Set **Plan up to**, how many camera moves to choose from (8 to start, up to 16).
3. Press **Plan clips**. Fondaro reads every photo and plans the moves, room by room.
4. Switch off any move you do not want, and choose **9:16** or **1:1**.
5. Press **Generate**. The price for exactly the moves you picked is on the key.

Clips arrive one by one. You can leave the page: the work carries on, and the **Studio** row in the sidebar shows a count while it runs.

> **Tip:** A project needs at least 4 photos and at most 60. Each move needs two or more photos of the same room, so add several photos of every room you want filmed.

## Choose which moves to make

Once planned, each move is a card with its room and its reference photos. Moves marked **Evening look** show the room at dusk, which your photos may not, so pick them on purpose.

**Select all**, **None**, and the **Journeys**, **Rooms**, **Details** and **Exteriors** keys switch whole groups on or off.

Moves you did not make wait under **Not made yet**. Tick them later and press **Generate** again: there is no new planning charge. When every move is made, **Plan more clips** plans new ones from the same photos.

## Why a photo is skipped

Photos with a **person in shot**, an **agency sign** or a **watermark** are set aside and never sent to make a clip, and so is a photo that **could not be read**. Each is marked with the reason. Portal photos usually carry watermarks, so the clean originals from your photographer give much better clips.

If no room has two usable photos, nothing is made and nothing is charged.

## Download your clips

- **Download** on a clip saves it.
- **Download all** saves every finished clip in the project.
- **Copy link** copies a link to one clip.

Clips are 720p MP4 files with no sound. Use **9:16** for Reels, Stories and TikTok, add music in the app you post from, and lead with your strongest move.

If a clip fails, its tile says why and offers **Redo**.

## Work with projects

Each set of photos is a **project** you can come back to. Press the project's name at the top of the left panel to switch projects, or **New project** to start another. **Reuse these photos** starts a new project from the same photos.

One project works at a time. A project that is planned and waiting for you does not count. Press `[` and `]` to open the previous and next project.

## What it costs

Both charges are Studio usage, with the price shown before you press:

- **Planning**, when you press **Plan clips** or **Plan more clips**. Photos already read are not charged again.
- **Each clip**, only once it is ready to download. A clip that fails is never charged, and neither is one you stop before it is made.

Video Studio needs an active plan or trial, and a card on file. See [Usage](https://www.fondaro.com/docs/dashboard/usage.md).

## What happens to your photos

The provider of the video model does not offer zero data retention: it may keep the photos and planned moves, but they are not used to train models. Your contacts and CRM data are never sent, and photos with people are never sent. The same notice sits beside the Generate key.
