Unassigned
Give leads nobody owns to the right people, and see where new leads go automatically.
Unassigned holds the leads nobody owns yet. From here you hand them out, and open the routing that decides who gets new leads. It is for admins; team members can read the routing but not change it.
Open Leads in the icon bar and click Unassigned in its sidebar. The top of the page says where new leads go: "New leads go to your team" or "New leads wait here".
Assign leads
- Tick the leads you want to hand out. Once every lead on the page is ticked, Select all unassigned leads picks the ones on every page.
- Optionally pick a Status (they start as New otherwise).
- Open Assign to... and tick one or more people, or a whole team.
- Press Assign.
The leads leave the list, and a message says who they went to. One go assigns up to 500 leads; run it again if more remain.
To assign a single lead, use Assign to on its row.
Auto-assign: where new leads go
Press Auto-assign to open a summary of how new leads are routed. It shows your routes in order, then the Smart routing card with its switch. It is for admins; team members can read it but not change it.
- Press a route, or its pencil, to edit it. Press Add rule to make a new one. Both open the Lead routing page, where you build and publish routes. See Lead routing.
- A paused route shows Paused. A route with no conditions shows Every lead.
- Routes are checked from the top and the first one that can give the lead to someone wins. If a route takes a lead but nobody can get it, the lead moves on to the next route.
Let Smart routing share new leads
Smart routing is on from the moment your agency has a plan, and it always comes last. A new lead that none of your routes can take goes straight to someone on your team:
- Language first. If some of your team list the lead's language on their profile, one of them gets it, taking turns: whoever got a lead longest ago goes next.
- Otherwise in turns. Nobody gets a second lead before everyone has had one.
The team is whoever is on it when the lead arrives, and anyone marked away is skipped. The lead shows who it went to, such as "Assigned to Maria", and you can reassign it in one click.
To switch it off, press Auto-assign and turn off the Smart routing card. New leads then follow only your routes, or wait here.
Route the leads already waiting
When leads are waiting here and a route or Smart routing can take them, Route N waiting leads appears at the top of the list. Press it and confirm Route them. Up to 500 leads go through your routes now, oldest first, and any lead someone assigns in the meantime is left alone. A message says how many were assigned.
Check possible duplicates
A lead marked Possible duplicate shares an email or phone number with another lead. Click it to compare the two and merge them if they are the same person. Nothing is merged until you confirm.
When a route sends a possible duplicate straight to someone, it skips this list, and Fondaro emails your agency's notification address with a link instead.
Import leads
Press Import CSV above the list to bring in a file. See Import leads.
