Listing workspace
Everything about one of your own listings in one place: its facts, viewings, open houses, deals, brochures, documents, portals and history.
The listing workspace is where you look after one of your own listings. Click a row in My listings to open it in place, or open its own page.
Press Esc, your browser's Back or My listings at the top to return to the list exactly as you left it.
The listing's sections (Overview, Activity, Viewings and the rest) are the sidebar on the left, and its photo, name, status, reference and price stay at the top while you scroll. Press the reference to copy it. On the listing's own page the open section is part of the address, so you can send a colleague straight to its Viewings or Documents.
Read a listing at a glance
Overview is the manager's summary. The wide column holds what you read: the photos, the description, the commission you offer other agencies and your viewing instructions, any open house, requests and collections it is in, co-listers, plans and tours, and documents. Beside it, Details (your private commission and the commission you offer, the listing type, the agent, days on the market, expiry, Auto renew and when it was last renewed, created and updated) and Property facts (bedrooms, bathrooms, sizes, energy rating, year built and features). A fact the listing does not have shows a dash. On a narrow screen the two columns stack.
Press any photo to see them all full screen. Use the arrow keys or the strip of photos at the bottom to move between them, and Esc to close.
When the listing expires within 30 days, or has expired, a note at the top of Overview says so with Renew. The Expires row has its own Renew too.
The sidebar counts what is waiting in each section: upcoming viewings, open deals, brochures and documents.
Act on a listing
Beside the listing's name, in every section, after the listing agent's face (on a narrow screen they show as icons; hold the pointer over one to see its name):
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Register viewing | Records a viewing. See Viewings and co-listers. |
| New deal | Starts a deal with this listing filled in. |
| Create brochure | Starts a brochure with this listing. |
| Match leads | Finds the people in your CRM who asked for a home like it. See My listings. |
| Edit listing | Opens the listing full screen, step by step. |
The ⋯ menu holds Make clips (Studio), Open to agents (Open houses), Post (Post to social), Renew (in the last 30 days before it expires, or once it has expired) and, for admins, Mark sold or Mark rented and Delete (its history is kept).
Change one detail in place
On Overview, press any value you want to change: the price or the name at the top, or a row under Details or Property facts. It turns into a field right where it is. Type the new value and press Enter (or the tick) to save, or Esc to leave it as it was. Facts the listing does not have yet, like parking or the floor, are under the + on Property facts. The commission you offer other agencies, your viewing instructions and the description have a pencil on their cards; the description opens in the same editor as Edit listing, with Write with Ask Fondaro. Auto renew is a switch that saves as soon as you flip it.
Edit a listing
To change several things at once, or the location, the photos or the plans and tours:
- Press Edit listing.
- It opens on Photos. Make your changes and press Next to go to the following step: Property, Location, Details, Plans & tours, Agent & sharing (agent, commission, Auto renew), then Status & description (status, description, documents). Next saves what you changed. To go straight to one step, pick it from the list.
- On the last step, press Update listing. Only what you changed is saved, and it shows in Activity.
Any member can edit a listing, assign its agent and renew it. Admins also close and delete.
Note: On a listing imported from Resales Online, the agent, commission and any status you set are kept on the next import. Price and property facts come from Resales Online, so change them there.
Invite a co-lister from another agency
Your agency's admin or the listing agent can invite someone to work the home with you:
- In the Co-listers card, press Invite.
- Choose An agent and type their handle, or An agency and type its page address.
- Pick the role: Co-lister appears on the home across the network; Referrer brought you the home and stays between your two agencies.
- Press Send invitation.
They answer from their own My listings. Only a listing on the market takes invitations, and either side can Remove the collaboration later. Your private commission is never shared.
Attach documents
Drop files onto the Documents section (or the Documents card on Overview), or press Upload files: each file is added to your library and attached to this listing in one step, with its progress shown until it is done. PDFs can be up to 25 MB, other files up to 50 MB. Press Attach a document to pin one that is already in your library. Detaching a document leaves it in your library. See Documents.
The sections
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | The details, facts, photos, description, co-listers and documents. |
| Activity | Everything that happened, by day: viewings, deal moves, brochures and every change (who changed what, before and after). Narrow it to one kind from the key at its top. When your listing is featured in the New on Fondaro email, you see "Featured in New on Fondaro" here. |
| Viewings | Upcoming and past viewings, with their status. |
| Open houses | This listing's open houses. Open to agents starts one. |
| Deals | Deals on this listing, with a button to start one. |
| Brochures | Brochures that include this listing. |
| Documents | Every document attached to it. |
| Portals | Where the listing is published. See Portal publishing. |
Another agency's listing
A listing from another agency opens as a reading page, the same as the home beside Search's results: photos, price and facts, the commission it offers you, the description, the map and its agent. Its private commission and viewing instructions are never shown, and its agent's phone and email appear only if they share them.
