Open houses

Open one of your listings to other agents for a few hours, say what the introducing agency earns, and see who is coming.

An open house invites other agents to see one of your listings during a time window. You say what the introducing agency earns, agents say they are coming, and you see who is coming. Open houses are free for hosts and guests.

Open a listing to agents

  1. Start in either place:
    • In My listings, Open houses, press New open house and pick one of your listings. Your own agency's listings that you can host are listed; type a place, title or reference to find one.
    • On a listing, press Open to agents. In My listings it is also in the row's ... menu.
  2. Fill in the form:
    • When: the date, start, end and time zone.
    • Offer: the commission for the introducing agency and its terms, such as "Plus VAT, payable on invoice". Left empty, the listing's offer to collaborating agencies is used.
    • Where: the address agents are shown, and an optional map link.
    • Invitation: a headline, the invitation and up to 12 talking points.
    • Contact: the name and WhatsApp number agents confirm with.
    • Who can find it: Listed for every agent shows it to agencies on Fondaro; Only people with the link keeps it to the people you send it to.
  3. Press Publish, or Save draft to finish later.

Your agency's admins and the listing's agent can open a listing to agents. Only your own Fondaro listings can host one, and only while they are on the market. The commission is fixed when you publish.

Tip: You can also ask Ask Fondaro, for example "open FDR-1234 to agents next Tuesday 11 to 2". It prepares the open house as a card you can edit; nothing is published until you approve it.

Share the invitation

Press Copy invitation link on the open house's row. The link opens a public page anyone can read without signing in, including agents who do not use Fondaro, with a button to confirm on WhatsApp. The street address appears only once an agent confirms their email, and the page is never listed by search engines.

See who is coming

Open My listings, then Open houses in the sidebar. New open house is at the top right. Your open houses are listed under Upcoming and Past. A listing's own Open houses section shows just that listing's.

Press the going count on a row to see who is coming, agency by agency. Agents on Fondaro have Message; agents who confirmed by email have Email.

From a row you can also Publish a draft, Edit it, Copy invitation link or Cancel open house. Agents who said they are coming see that it is cancelled.

Go to another agency's open house

Open houses reach you where you already look:

  • On the card: a home with an open house ahead carries a flag such as "OPEN SAT 12:00".
  • In Search: Open house this week in the filters shows homes with an open house in the next seven days.
  • In the Inbox: the next open houses worth a look near your areas.
  • On a person: their Showing list.

Open one to see the invitation, time, address, home and host, then press Going. Press it again to change your mind. Message writes to the host, and WhatsApp opens a message to their contact number. Use the ... menu to report one that looks wrong.

The small print

Every invitation carries the same footer: the host holds the listing; the commission and its VAT are paid by the host to the introducing agency on invoice; Fondaro passes the invitation on and is not a party to any sale; the price excludes the buyer's taxes and costs; and details may change.
