Brochures

Create shareable interactive web brochures from selected listings, and generate PDF window cards from any property detail page.

Fondaro has two brochure tools: interactive web brochures you share as a link, and PDF window cards you download from a property's detail page.

Interactive web brochures

Select listings anywhere in Browse All using the checkbox on each card or table row (both Fondaro and Resales Online listings work, up to 25 per brochure). A floating bar appears at the bottom with the selection count, plus Create brochure and Save to existing actions.

Creating a brochure prepares a snapshot of every selected listing, then shows a share pass with the public link, a QR code, and a WhatsApp button with a prefilled message. The link works immediately; recipients do not need an account.

Create from a link

The From a link button on the Brochures page starts a brochure from a pasted link instead of a selection. It understands two kinds of link:

  • A property-viewer.com share link from a collaborating agency: Fondaro loads the properties in the link and you tick the ones to include.
  • An Idealista listing link or property code (idealista.com, .es, .it, or .pt): Fondaro looks the listing up and shows a preview card to confirm.

Either way, the picked listings land in the same brochure builder as a normal selection. Idealista listings are fully snapshotted: Fondaro stores its own copy of the photos, so the brochure keeps working even after Idealista's own image links expire.

To add a single listing to an existing brochure, open it and use the Edit listings menu: pick from your listings, add by Resales reference, add from a viewer link, or add by Idealista link.

What recipients see

The brochure opens with a personalised cover, your note, and an overview grid: one card per property with photo, price, and key facts, so the whole selection is visible at a glance. Tapping any card jumps to that property's full section; the numbering on the cards matches the side rail and the map pins. On phones the grid collapses into a compact index, which makes a multi-property brochure easy to scan on a small screen.

Language and theme for recipients

The brochure footer has a language switcher and a light/dark theme toggle. A recipient who does not read English can switch the interface into any of Fondaro's nine languages, and flip between light and dark, without an account. This changes only the chrome around the listings (buttons, section headings, contact labels); the property details, your personal note, and place names stay in the language you wrote them. Both controls are hidden from the printed and saved-as-PDF version.

Themes and the Branding studio

Brochures draw their look from a catalogue of ten designed themes, from quiet classics (Atelier, Marbella, Estate, Nordisk, Ledger) to bold ones (Costa Pop, Riviera Club, Azulejo, Citrus, Midnight). Each has a matched light and dark mode and its own typography. Admins set the organization's default theme, accent colour, cover photo, and resource links on the Branding studio (Properties > Branding in the sidebar), where the preview is one of your real brochures repainting live as you pick: choose which brochure from the toolbar, flip light and dark, and check the phone width. The theme can also be overridden per brochure from the detail panel. Restyling applies to brochures you've already sent as well, because colours resolve when the recipient opens the link.

The Brochures page (Properties > Brochures in the sidebar) lists every brochure with its status, view count, and expiry. From here you can:

  • Share: Opens the same share pass with link, QR code, and WhatsApp button straight from the table row.
  • Open: Opens the brochure detail panel. The title is edited once in the header; the panel leads with your listings and the share card, then the Recipient card (name and personal note for the shared link). Lifecycle actions (renew, revoke, delete) and Refresh branding live in the header menu; per-brochure theme and accent overrides sit behind the collapsed Branding & theme (advanced) disclosure for admins.
  • Filter: Search by title or slug, filter by status (active, expired, revoked), and (for admins) switch between your own and all of the organization's brochures. If your filters match nothing, a Clear filters button resets them in one click.

Results stay on screen while a refresh runs, and the table only shows placeholders on a genuinely cold load. Opening a brochure from the table paints instantly from the row you clicked while the full details load behind it.

Correcting a listing's details

Listings are snapshotted from their source, so the summary is generated rather than written. That is usually right, but not always: a new development is filed with a range (1 to 4 beds, €363,000 to €1,481,000), and a generated summary that picks the lower bound alone reads as a specific one bed home at the lowest price. Rather than telling a buyer to ignore the summary, correct it.

Open the brochure and click the listing's Edit details (pencil) action. You can change:

  • Title, Reference, and Property type
  • Description
  • Price, as a single figure or a From and To range
  • Beds and Baths, each as a single figure or a range

Two switches cover the cases where the honest answer is to say nothing:

  • Hide price replaces the figure with Price on request everywhere in the brochure, and drops the mortgage calculator from that property.
  • Hide beds & baths removes those facts entirely. Areas stay, because they are not in dispute.

Click Save changes and the listing updates straight away. A quiet Edited marker appears on the row so you can see at a glance which listings you have corrected.

Three things worth knowing:

  • Your edits apply to this brochure only. The source listing and your other brochures are untouched.
  • Your edits survive a refresh. Pulling fresh data from the source updates everything you have not corrected, and leaves everything you have.
  • Every field can go back. Any field you have overridden shows a Reset to source link that restores the original value.

Ranges follow the property, not the fields: setting a price of €400,000 with no upper figure genuinely means one price, not a range that quietly keeps the old upper bound.

References on viewer-link imports

Listings added from a property-viewer.com share link now carry the original Resales reference, the R number you search on in Resales Online (for example R5423149). Earlier imports stored an internal Resales export code instead, which matched nothing you could look up. Existing brochures were corrected in place, so no action is needed on your side. If an agency files a property under a reference of their own, override it in Edit details, and the dialog shows the source reference underneath so you can still trace it back.

Fixing a listing's location

If a listing shows on the wrong spot (Resales Online listings sometimes arrive with a vague area label and no precise coordinates), open the brochure and click the listing's location action. There's a draggable pin from the start, and three easy ways to set it:

  • Search for an address: Start typing in the search box and pick a match. The pin and address fields fill in.
  • Drop the pin: Click anywhere on the map, or drag the pin. The address back-fills from where you put it.
  • Enter it by hand: Open Enter address manually, type the address, then click Find on map to move the pin. Anything you type by hand is kept exactly as written.

Click Save location to apply it. The change is saved straight away and shows on the brochure immediately.

PDF window cards

You can generate PDF brochures and window cards directly from any property listing's detail page. These are professionally formatted documents that include the property's photos, details, and your organization's branding.

Generating a window card

On the property detail page, look for the Generate window card section in the right sidebar. Click it to expand the options:

  1. Theme: Choose a color theme from the available swatches. Each theme sets a different accent color and font style.
  2. Light / Dark mode: Toggle between light and dark background styles using the Sun/Moon switch.
  3. Branding source: Select whose branding to use: the listing organization's branding or your own organization's branding.
  4. Agent (optional): When using your own branding, you can select an agent from your organization to feature on the card.

Click Download window card to generate and download the PDF.
