Import Own Listings from Resales Online
Safely configure a dedicated Resales own-inventory filter, preview an import, and manually sync sale listings into Fondaro.
The Resales own-listings import copies your agency's sale inventory into Fondaro. Imported properties become ordinary Fondaro own listings, so you can assign agents, record commission, register viewings, connect deals, create brochures, and inspect history without retyping the record.
This is currently a manual-only import. Fondaro does not run a scheduled Resales sync, and a listing that disappears from the Resales filter is not automatically marked inactive or deleted.
Before you start
You need an existing Resales Online V6 connection in Fondaro and a spare API filter slot on the same Resales key. The filter used for normal Resales browsing is not safe to reuse.
The two filters have different jobs:
- The connected browse filter powers shared MLS search, Resales brochures, and client-site inventory.
- The own-listings filter is used only to copy your agency inventory into My listings.
Never edit the browse filter into an own-only filter. Doing so can silently remove shared MLS inventory from Fondaro search and downstream surfaces.
1. Create the Resales filter
In Resales Online:
- Open Properties → Feed Out → API Filters.
- Edit a spare filter on the same API key.
- Set Resales Properties to Only own properties.
- Turn off Only featured properties and any New Developments restriction.
- Leave the price range at
0/0. - Clear every location and urbanisation restriction.
- Set Filter Type to Sale.
- Save the filter and copy its numeric global Filter Id, such as
72202.
Use the global Filter Id for the own-listings field, not its one-digit Filter Alias. The normal Fondaro connection screen may describe the browse value as a Filter Alias; these are separate fields with separate purposes.
If you do not have a spare filter slot, ask Resales Online support to add one. Fondaro does not provide a safe workaround. Rental imports are not included in this version; they require a separate rental filter and flow.
2. Save and verify it in Fondaro
- Open Settings → Integrations → Resales Online.
- Find Own-listings filter ID.
- Paste the numeric global Filter Id and save it.
Fondaro rejects the value if it is identical to the stored browse-filter value. It then tests both the normal browse connection and the own-listings filter against Resales Online. The settings page shows how many properties the own filter currently returns.
Treat that count as a safety check. If it looks like the whole shared MLS rather than your own stock, stop and correct the Resales filter before importing. Resales does not expose the filter configuration through its API, so Fondaro cannot independently verify that Only own properties is selected.
3. Preview and import
- Open Properties → My listings as an organization admin.
- Open the chevron attached to Add listing.
- Choose Import from Resales.
- Wait for the dry-run manifest. It shows the upstream total and how many listings would be created, updated, skipped, or reported as errors.
- Review any issues, then choose Import listings to run the real import.
Dry run is always the dashboard's first step and does not write listings. The real import fetches a fresh complete snapshot, so its final counts can differ if Resales changes between preview and confirmation.
Safety guardrails
- Both dry runs and real imports stop with no listing writes if the filter reports more than 50 properties.
- Fondaro fetches the complete upstream snapshot before starting database writes. An incomplete Resales response aborts the run.
- The dedicated import path bypasses the normal Resales search cache.
- A real run can still complete with per-listing issues. Successful rows remain imported and the summary identifies the failures.
- The browse-filter and own-filter identifiers must be different whichever one is saved second.
What is synchronized
Fondaro keys each imported listing by your Resales agency reference, falling back to the Resales reference. Re-running the import updates the same Fondaro row instead of creating a duplicate.
The import refreshes source-owned property data such as type, description, location, price, rooms, sizes, features, images, and upstream metadata. On first import it sets the listing to Active and enables auto-renew.
Fondaro-owned administration fields are preserved:
- assigned agent;
- commission;
- lead-group connection; and
- status after a user or admin has changed it locally.
Every created or refreshed row receives an Imported entry in the listing History. A skipped row means the current synchronized values already match.
Manual sync limitations
Run the import again whenever you want to pull current Resales data. There is no automatic daily job today. Manual sync does not infer deletions, does not mark missing upstream listings inactive, and does not import rentals. If a property is sold, rented, or otherwise changed in Fondaro, its locally managed status is not overwritten by a later import.
