Ask Fondaro

Ask the assistant about your leads, listings and calendar, and approve every change it proposes before anything happens.

Ask Fondaro is the assistant built into your dashboard. It reads your leads, calls, emails, listings, calendar and these help docs, answers in plain words, and prepares the next step for you to approve. It never places a call and never sends anything on its own: it drafts and proposes, and you approve, dial and send.

Open Ask

  1. Press Ask at the right of the top bar, or ⌘. (Ctrl . on Windows).
  2. Type what you need and press Enter.

Ask opens in a panel beside the page you are working on, on every page. Conversations lists your earlier conversations, and New conversation starts a fresh one. Your conversations are private to you.

When you come back within 30 minutes, Ask continues your last conversation. After a longer gap it starts a new one, and the old one stays in Conversations.

You can also type a request in the search (⌘K) and pick Ask Fondaro at the bottom.

Start from what is on your page

A new conversation offers up to three things to start with, named after real people and records on the page you are on. In the Inbox that might be Draft a reply to Ana García (waiting 2 days) or Prepare for the 15:00 viewing at Villa Sierra; on a deal, What is left to close Villa Sierra by 30 October?; on a listing, Which leads want Villa Sierra? Press one to send it. Ask starts on that person or record, and anything it would change still comes to you as a card to approve.

Ask about the lead you are on

On a lead, a call or a listing, the empty box reads Ask about this lead, Ask about this call or Ask about this listing. Ask already knows which one you mean, so "summarise our last call" or "draft a follow-up" just works.

Try:

  • "Which of my leads have not been contacted in three weeks?"
  • "Summarise the last call with the Andersson lead and what I promised them."
  • "Search for three-bedroom villas in Marbella under 900k."
  • "Build a brochure from those three for Sofia."
  • "Reply to Sofia's WhatsApp in Spanish and offer Thursday at 11."
  • "Book a viewing of R5473351 with that lead on Friday at 10."
  • "Move the Marbella villa deal to Offer."
  • "Send Idealista sellers to Ana and Luis, taking turns." (admins)
  • "How do I connect my WhatsApp?"

What you see while Ask works

While Ask looks things up, you see one quiet line such as Read 5 lead timelines. Open it to see what it looked at. When Ask hands you a list, such as leads or tasks, each is a row you can press to open it. The answer types itself out as Ask writes it.

Approve what it proposes

Ask reads right away, but it never changes anything until you approve. Each change appears as a card in the conversation.

  1. Read the card. It names the record and shows what will change.
  2. Correct the fields if the card lets you.
  3. Press Approve, or Reject to leave everything as it was.
CardWhat you can doThe button

A WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn or Telegram messageEdit the text; it goes from your own accountSend
A meeting or a viewingCheck the time; it warns about clashesSend invite, or Save with nobody invited
Any other change (status, tags, owner, a deal)Read only: reject it and ask again if it is wrongApprove

An email goes out from your own connected mailbox, with your signature. If your mailbox is not connected, the card shows Connect instead. If the record changed while the card waited, approval fails rather than overwrite someone's work: just ask again.

When one answer proposes the same change for several records, for example "move these 12 leads from Bad timing to New", they arrive as one card with a row per record. Untick any you want to leave out, then press Approve 12 (the number follows your ticks; the unticked ones are rejected), or Reject all. Each row is still checked on its own: if one record changed while the card waited, only that row fails and says so, and the rest go through.

Changes that cannot be undone, such as deleting a note or revoking a brochure link, carry a warning. Every approved card names who approved it. Once you approve or reject a card, it shrinks to one line saying what happened.

What Ask can do

  • Leads: find, read and count them; read a lead's whole history; create a lead; change contact details, status and tags. Admins can also change owners and update many leads at once.
  • Lead routing (admins): ask who would get a lead, or have routes added, changed, reordered, paused or deleted, Smart routing switched, waiting leads routed, or someone marked away. You approve each change first. See Lead routing.
  • Notes and tasks: add, edit or delete a note; put a task on your calendar.
  • Calls and emails: read call transcripts, summaries and email history.
  • Messages: read a lead's WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and Telegram conversation and draft a reply for you to send.
  • Calendar: read your days and prepare a meeting or a viewing.
  • Inbox: tell you who is waiting for an answer.
  • Deals: open, edit, move, win, lose and reopen deals.
  • Properties and brochures: search your connected sources, shortlist homes, and create or edit a brochure.
  • Documents: read your library, write or edit a document, share it, or attach it to a lead.
  • Reports: build a report and freeze a snapshot.
  • Calling: line up a list of leads for you to dial. You place every call yourself.
  • Website (admins): prepare a change and build a preview for you to approve.

Ask sees exactly what you can see. A team member's Ask works on the leads and deals assigned to them; an admin's works across the agency.

Find people by what they said

Ask also searches what people actually said in your notes, calls, emails and messages, over the last 24 months. Describe who you are looking for:

  • "Who mentioned a sea view penthouse?"
  • "Who said they are visiting this summer?"
  • "Who might like this listing?"

You get a list of people, best match first, each with the line that matched and where it came from. Click a name to open the lead. The same search is in ⌘K as Search by description.

Take the next step it offers

Without being asked, Ask can offer the next step where you are working: on a call card, under a note you saved, on a lead, or on an Inbox row. Each one is a plain action, such as Book the viewing, Send matching listings or Mark as do not contact.

  • Press it, or press . to take the one on the lead or row you are on.
  • A small change, like a status or a tag, happens at once with Undo.
  • Anything else opens a card for you to approve.
  • Right-click one and choose Not now to hide it.

Offering a step is free. A step that writes words for you, like a drafted reply, uses AI and says so before you press it.

Let Ask remember

Ask keeps short working notes, called Memory, so you do not repeat yourself:

  • Your memory: how you like to work ("Keep my emails to three sentences"). Only you can read it.
  • Organization memory: what your team shares ("No viewings on Sundays"). Admins read and edit it.

Admins see both on Settings › My agency › AI & models, with Edit, History, Restore and Clear. Ask also keeps notes about each lead for its own use; they help it answer but are not shown anywhere. Nothing in memory ever skips an approval.

Choose a model

Conversations start on Auto, which picks a faster model for quick questions and the flagship for bigger work. To pick another:

  1. Press the model name under the box.
  2. Pick a model. Each row shows what it accepts and its price per million tokens.

Choosing a model starts a new conversation and becomes your default. Some models are text only and cannot take images. A model marked May train may use your conversation to train its maker's models; every other model runs with no training.

Set up Ask for your agency (admins)

Settings › My agency › AI & models holds:

  • Ask Fondaro: on for everyone from the moment your agency has a plan. Switch it off and Ask closes for everyone.
  • Call review: what happens when a call ends. See Calls.
  • Spend: what Ask used this month and your Monthly AI cap.
  • Your memory and Organization memory.

Everything you ask is billed as AI usage, up to your monthly cap.

What Ask does not do

  • It never places a call, sends an email or message, books a meeting or publishes your website on its own.
  • It cannot edit a change card. Reject it and ask again.
  • It can line up a dialling list but cannot pause, skip or stop a run. Use the dialer's own controls.
  • It finds and ranks people but does not total them. Use Reports for "how many".
  • Long transcripts and emails are shortened before it reads them. Open the record when exact wording matters.
