Unassigned Leads
View and assign unassigned leads to team members in bulk, and import leads from a CSV file.
Admin only: This feature is only available to organization admins.
The Unassigned Leads page shows all leads that haven't been assigned to a team member yet. From here, you can assign leads individually or in bulk, and import new leads from a CSV file.
Viewing Unassigned Leads
Navigate to Unassigned in the CRM sidebar. You'll see a paginated table of all leads with no assignees, showing their name, email, phone number, and language.
Use the search palette to find specific unassigned leads by name, email, or phone.
Importing Leads
To import leads from a CSV file, click the Import CSV button in the toolbar at the top-right of the table. This takes you to the import wizard, which walks you through uploading a file, mapping columns, and configuring import settings.
Assigning Leads
Selecting Leads
Click the checkbox next to individual leads to select them. When all leads on the current page are selected, a link appears to Select all unassigned leads across every page.
The selection bar at the top shows how many leads you've selected.
Bulk Assignment
- Select the leads you want to assign (individually or all at once).
- Optionally choose a Status from the dropdown to set their pipeline stage (defaults to New if not specified).
- Choose a team member from the Assign to... dropdown.
- Click Assign.
The selected leads will be assigned to that team member and removed from the unassigned list. A confirmation message shows how many leads were assigned and to whom.
Clearing Selection
After clicking Select all unassigned leads, a Clear selection link appears. Click it to deselect all leads.
Automatic Lead Assignment
If your organization has multiple team members, you can set up automatic lead assignment rules so that new leads are routed to the right person as soon as they come in.
Setting Up Rules
- On the Unassigned page, click the Auto-Assign button in the toolbar.
- Click New Rule to create a routing rule.
- Choose which lead plan, language, and/or tag the rule should match.
- Select an assignment strategy (round-robin or weighted).
- Add the team members who should receive matching leads.
- Save the rule.
How Routing Rules Work
Each rule matches incoming leads based on three optional criteria:
- Lead plan: Which lead plan subscription the lead came from
- Language: The lead's preferred language
- Tag: A tag the lead carries (for example "VIP")
When a new lead arrives, the system evaluates your rules from top to bottom and uses the first match. More specific rules (matching plan, language, and tag) take priority over broader ones. You can drag rules to reorder them, so place your most specific rules at the top.
Tag-based rules apply to leads brought in through your automations (n8n, Zapier), since those can arrive already tagged. Marketplace leads have no tags at the moment they arrive, so they are matched on lead plan and language only.
Assignment Strategies
Each rule uses one of two strategies to distribute leads among the assigned team members:
- Round-robin: Leads are distributed evenly, one at a time, cycling through team members in order
- Weighted: You set a percentage for each team member (e.g., 60/40 split), and leads are distributed accordingly
