Tabs & Saved Views
Run several property searches side by side in browser-style tabs, and save any tab as a named view you can re-open or share with your team.
The property Search page works like a browser: a tab strip runs across the top, and each tab is its own search — source, filters, locations, sort order, even a pinned research shortlist. Switch tabs to jump between lines of research without losing your place in any of them. Everything is saved to your account, so your tabs come back exactly as you left them on any device.
Tabs
Your first visit starts with a single Idealista tab (the free map search). From there:
- New tab: click the + at the right end of the strip and pick New tab. A fresh tab opens on the Idealista default.
- Switch: click any tab. Filters you set in one tab stay put when you switch away and are still there when you come back.
- Rename / change icon: right-click a tab (or use the small arrow on the active tab) and pick Rename or Change icon. Icons come from the same curated set as saved views, so a tab reads at a glance.
- Duplicate: copies the tab with its full state — handy for branching a search ("same area, but under €500k").
- Close: the × on the tab, or the context menu. Closing the last tab leaves you with a fresh default tab; the strip never goes empty.
Everything you do inside a tab — tweaking filter pills, switching source, changing sort, and even shortlists the AI research sidebar pins — is remembered by that tab automatically. There is no save button; the workspace persists in the background a moment after you stop changing things.
You can keep up to 12 tabs.
Saved views
Tabs are yours alone; views are the shareable layer. A view is a named, icon-badged search definition stored in the library — what the source is, which filters and locations are set, and the sort order (not your pins; those stay personal).
- Save a tab as a view: right-click the tab → Save tab as view…. Give it a name (up to 40 characters), pick an icon, and choose Private or Shared with org.
- Open a view: click + in the tab strip → pick a view from the list. It opens as a new tab seeded from the view's definition. Views work across Resales Online, Zoddak, Inmobalia, and Idealista.
- Update a view: a tab remembers which view it was opened from. After tweaking filters, right-click the tab → Update saved view to write the tab's current search back into the view. Only the person who created a view can update it.
- Manage views: + → Manage views… to rename, re-icon, change visibility, or delete any view you created.
Editing filters inside a tab never silently changes the view it came from — a view only changes when you explicitly pick Update saved view. That keeps shared views stable for the whole team while everyone researches freely in their own tabs.
Tips
- Keep tab and view names short: they need to fit in the strip and the dropdown rows.
- Use distinctive icons (Crown, Sparkle, Mountains) to spot a tab at a glance.
- Share views when a team works the same market: everyone can open them as tabs, and the owner can push refinements with one update.
- The AI research sidebar plays well with tabs: a pinned shortlist lands in whichever tab is active, so keep a dedicated "Research" tab if you like a clean split.
